Our mission is to serve our stakeholders through championing the high-quality features of international pathways which are designed, owned and delivered by our member universities.

The UPA Member Institutions
The UPA membership is comprised of a series UK Higher Education Institutions which have come together to form the alliance and to develop and realise our mission.
Membership of the UPA is currently instigated by invitation only, but if your institution is interested in joining the Alliance then please do contact us to discuss.

King's academic preparation courses are taught through King's Foundations.
Goldsmiths, University of London
Goldsmiths, University of London's International Foundation Certificates are provided through a number of different schools and these can be accessed here.
The department at the University of Kent which specialises in the provision of international pathway programmes is
Kent International Pathways.
The department at the University of Leeds that runs the International Foundation Year is the International Pathway Programmes team.

The department at Oxford Brookes University specialises in the provision of Pathway Programmes and is part of Oxford Brookes Business School (OBBS).
Queen Mary University of London
Queen Mary University of London's international pathway programmes are provided through a number of different schools and these can be accessed here.
The department at the University of Reading which specialises in the provision of international pathway programmes is the International Study and Language Institute.
University of Salford
Pathway provision at the University of Salford is looked after by the university’s language centre, Salford Languages. The centre is responsible for the teaching of English on the International Foundation Year and for the coordination of international foundation-level teaching within the university’s four schools.
The department at the University of St Andrews which specialises in the provision of pathway programmes is the
International Education Institute.
International pathway programmes at the University of Bristol are delivered by the Centre for Academic Language and Development.
